Abstract
The research aimed to fill the research gap between the influence of financial knowledge on financial management by using materialism as moderation. The survey population was the number of populations based on the family card (KK) in the City of Denpasar. The sample in this study of 100 people from the community of Denpasar was determined based on simple random sampling. The analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Research results showed that financial knowledge was not significant to financial management behavior. Another finding was that materialism was unable to moderate the influence of financial knowledge on financial management behavior. Further research could develop this research by using other variables that theoretically had an influence on financial management behavior.
